Took a cushion from the last stack and screamed into it's filling
Sounding like a slogan from a broken home vortex
out cried my head
Flash bulb memories drugged my sentiment
Good mourning heart, now back to bed.
Line up the worlds for a dream,
an oracular dispersant for my childhood chest to cope
Churn a dream, before the sun cuts through the trees
Dream away to loyalty that light can't take.
Dream before face tears give headaches
Dream girl, before you brake....
I dreamt bald and flat backed said our tires,
We rode. We stole islands time.
Sunsets painted us mellow and cream
I dreamt the song was about me, for me, and sung to me
And each drowning for a stand in.
suggested and polluted adonics endorse my dreams
my sleeping heads bent outlook. Morbid, insecure, and candid.
I sleep easy and wake toled
stab this winter
time is lent, time was yours.. and easy wasn't it?
Easy like our undominant colorant eyes
Easy like the gene that kept you alive
You were out of town and loved
the cause of a soft prescription
a frozen file I met once- in a million times.
I am angry
you are the crack between the curb and street-
where the left outs meet and damn the soil beneath.
then somewhere your beat stopped
on plinth you shared for a second with those cloaked and praying
and somewhere children jumped from bleachers and cheered.
maybe what hasn't died, hasn't tried... maybe...
But the sun hisses and sees
how every grand finale I go through alone
Sleep becomes involuntary and in-cycles me
found steps to dreams becoming policy
Now I am a habit of what hasn't happened yet
got that a.m. radio graveyard glow
slow to fold this page- and dismiss.

This is strong and mercurial. Angry and slippery and sad and masterful. You are riding a god wave here. Don't jump off before it crests.
